UNLEAVENED BREAD RECIPE - ALMOND POUND CAKE


    ALMOND POUND CAKE

        1 c. honey (or 2 c. sugar)

        6 eggs

        1 t. vanilla

        1 t. almond extract

        2 sticks butter

        2 c. flour

        Pinch of salt

        Cream butter and honey together. Add flour and salt alternately with eggs to creamed mixture.

        Blend in vanilla and almond extract. Bake at 325 for 45 minutes in tube pan. Turn out after cooling for 10 min.

        Excellent sliced and topped with ice cream and carob fudge.
