THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES – 2020

Greetings Brethren,
The Feast of Tabernacles and the 8th Day of the Feast – Oct. 03 – Oct. 10th will be held in Portage, WI at the Best Western Resort Hotel & Conference Center. Opening service will be Friday evening, Oct. 2nd at 7:30 PM, with services the following day at 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM. A bible study or service will be held on each of the following days of the feast.
Portage is approximately two hours from the airport in Milwaukee, and one hour from the Madison airport. Brethren who do not want to rent a car can make arrangements for airport pickup by contacting me. Amtrak also stops in Portage.
Housing and the meeting hall are at the Best Western. Standard hotel rooms with one king or two queen beds have been blocked for us at a cost of $82.00 per night; two room suites are $100.00 per night. Both include tax and a buffet breakfast. All rooms have a microwave, small refrigerator and wireless internet. There are laundry facilities on the premises. Guest room gratuities are taken care of.
Reservations should be made through the church by Sept. 10th, along with a deposit of $100.00 payable to Church of God, and mailed to PO Box 406, Hustisford, WI 53034, USA. You may call ahead for a reservation at 920-349-3604. Anyone requiring 2nd tithe assistance should contact me as soon as possible to review your needs. If eligible, no one should stay home from the feast for lack of funds. Those with special needs or needing adjoining rooms should contact me early.
A group buffet luncheon is planned between services on the first day of the feast. On the Last Great Day there will be a group brunch at 10:30 AM. These meals will be at a local restaurant, and there is no charge. However, donations are accepted to defray costs as you are able. The Hospitality room has daily lunches except on the high days.
An outing and/or group tour is planned for the group; also the annual Bocce Ball tournament which is open to all. Group activities are at no charge, but again, donations are appreciated.
