THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES – 2019

Greetings Brethren,                                                                                 January 04, 2019         

The Feast of Tabernacles and the 8^th Day of the Feast – Oct. 14th – Oct. 21st will be held in Portage, WI at the Best Western Resort Hotel & Conference Center.  Opening service will be Sunday evening, Oct. 13^th at 7:30 PM, with services the following day at 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM. A Bible Study or Service will be held on each of the following days of the feast.

Portage is approximately two hours from the airport in Milwaukee, and one hour from the Madison airport. Brethren can make arrangements for airport transportation by contacting me. Amtrak also stops in Portage.

Housing and the meeting hall will be at the Best Western. Standard hotel rooms have been blocked for us at a cost of $82.00 per night, 2 room suites at $100.00. Both include tax, and a buffet breakfast.  All rooms have a microwave, small refrigerator and wireless internet. There are laundry facilities on premise. Guest room gratuities are taken care of.

      
Reservations should be made through the church by Sept. 9th, along with a deposit of $100.00 payable to Church of God, and mailed to PO Box 406, Hustisford, WI 53034, USA.  Anyone requiring 2nd tithe assistance should contact me as soon as possible to review your needs. If eligible, No one should stay home from the feast for lack of funds.

Also, anyone with special needs or wanting adjoining rooms please contact me early.

A group buffet luncheon is planned between services on the first day of the feast and on the Sabbath between the Holy Days. On the 8th Day of the Feast there will be a group brunch around 10:30 AM.  All three meals will be served at a local restaurant, or catered into the hall. There is no charge for the meals; however, donations are accepted to help defray the costs.

There is a daily luncheon in the hospitality room except on the high days. 

An outing and/or tour is planned for the group, also the annual bocce ball tournament open to all. The group activities are at no charge, but again, donations are appreciated.
